Sofia has created a few broadcast news videos and other visual media, including a short film about Metro Transit and a news story about the Twin Cities Urban Sketchers.
Sofia has a broad range of writing experience, as result of her long-time affinity for the practice. She has written essays and academic papers, press releases, news stories, poetry, fiction and narrative pieces.
Sofia has covered student life at the University of Minnesota and events around the Twin Cities. While she prefers to photograph events, sports and urban wildlife, she has some experience with portraits, elections and architecture.
