In a little over a year, the two-story Mathematics Library in Vincent Hall at the University of Minnesota will close for good. By then, most of the book and journals will be settled in their new home – the U of M's offsite collections facility – currently under construction. As a result of changes in patron usage patterns, libraries across campus are being reimagined to meet the needs of digital natives.

Urban Sketchers seek the extraordinary in the ordinary
Capturing a fleeting scene is not easy, especially when referencing it solely from memory. But on April 15, 2023, the Twin Cities chapter of the international group, Urban Sketchers, ventured to Keg and Case Market in Saint Paul, Minn., and did exactly that. Gliding their pens, pencils and water brushes across their sketchbooks, the sketchers turned their eyes into viewfinders to document the extraordinary in the ordinary.
